The Financial Times,, in an editorial congratulating Queensland and London on the prompt burying of the hatchet refers to the probability of a fall of interest rates in a few years. It expresses the opinion that Queensland is wise to bind herself to the present rate for a short period only, and anticipates that when the new loan matures -Queensland will be able to reborrow on easier terms.
