The professional 15-round boxing bout between Andre Dupro and Fred Smith took place at Westport last evening, and ended in a draw, after a clever exhibition by both lads. BOUTS IN AUSTRALIA. TWO DECISIVE WINS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 6.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 6. At the Sydney Stadium, Ristuccia beat George tox in seven rounds. When the bout had gone that far. Fox. who was outclassed and had one eye closed, told the referee he was unable to continue. At Melbourne. George Mendies beat Harry Aaron 3in three rounds. Aarons was knocked down three times, and the referee stopped the contest.
