Ashbolt, Agent-General for Tasmania, that the British Government strongly favours the establishment of an Imperial airship service. Its opposition to the Burney scheme does not mean scrapping the Empire Air Lino.. Mr. Ashbolt says he understands that an alternative scheme is at present being prepared,, and that when completed it is likely to be submitted, together with the Burney scheme, for the frtfe vote of Parliament. *
