The Dunedin Jockey Club's Autumn Meet ing was concluded to-day. - The weather was fine, but a high wind wag in evidencs at times. There was a large • attendance. As a result of the dry spell, the track was hard, and as a result the scratching pen was freely used, the fields being of small dimensions. The racing was, however, of an- interesting character and several close finishes were witnessed.The totalisator investments amounted to £31355, compared with £32,683 •an She corresponding day last year. The Rotorua Racing Club holds its annual meeting on Wednesday next at Arawa Park, and everything augurs well for a successful gathering at the popular holiday resort.
