SIXTY-YEAR-OLD HOUSE. Ist XSUGSAPH.—PB»9« ASSOCIATION.} CHEISTCHURCH. Friday. The old Burnsida homestead, a 60-yetir-old ' wooden building, formerly belonging to ( the . late Mr. D. Boag, and situated in Burnside. Road, Fendalton, was burned to the ground to-day. , The house, which was a large two-storeyed one, was one of the earliest homesteads in Christchurch. It was in the occupation of Mr. H. K. McDOugall, solicitor, of Christchurch. The City Fire Brigade could not attend,^ as the property was situated outside the city boundary. ',
