TWO MEN CHARGED. [b? .TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION. J Vv JtILLING-TGN. Tuesday. Burglars broke into the premises of L. Evans and Co., Ltd., drapers, in Cuba Street, in July and stole stock valued at £450. The burglary has had its sequel in the arrest of two men , and the recovery of a portion of the property alleged to have been stolen. Investigation carried out by Detectives McLennan and TricWebank culminated in interviews yesterday, following -which they arrested Walter Leonard Hammington and William Patterson, said to be a confectioner..

At the Police Court to-day Hammington was charged with burglary, and Patterson wajj charged with receiving in connection with the same offence. Thoy were renu aided to January 16 on Uail ci £200.
