AUSTRALIANS DO WELL.
LONDON, Nov. 23. "England and America cannot teach Australia anything regarding the lay-out and construction of theatres, ' said Sir Benjamin Fuller, of Sydney. ' Some of the old theatres in England are a disgrace from the sanitary and every other point of view 1 " English actors and actresses are keen to visit Australia owing to the glowing reports of recent visitors. Australians are holding their own in American and English theatres. Bert Errol, of Balmain, is one of the highest paid comedians in America. Three of the ten items of the London Palladium's programme this week are provided by Australians —De Lino, the Colleanos, and Lucil Benrtead. - Other Australians are doing well in England.
