Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 7. Mr. Justice Powers, in the Arbitration Court, granted preference to the Watersiders' Union at Sydney, subject to preference to returned soldiers and sailors. The decision ends the preference given to loyalists since the maritime strike of 1917.
