The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency is advised by its London office that the annual meeting will be '•' December 13. The revenue count shows a net credit balance of £160,582. After charging debenture stock interest, £ 63,000, there remains £92,582. to which must, be added £18,448. (brought forward from last year, making a total of £111,031. The interim dividend paid on preference stock and dividends proposed now to be paid- will absorb £90,000, leaving £21,031 ia carrv forward. The dividends proposed are the final dividend on preference stock of 2i per cent., less English income tax of 2s 2Jd in the pound, and on ordinary stock 4 per cent., free of English income iax. ' '"*
