The spiritual healing mission, ' to,, be conducted in the Dunedin Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week, by Mr. J. M. Many cases are now Being reported of people who have benefited to a greater or lesser degree through having taken part in the preparations for the mission. A little girl, who was prayed for at preparatory services, and was thought to be dying of bronchitis and pneumonia, is now reported to bo quite out of danger. ■ The Rev. W. Hamblett, of St. Matthews "Church, announced yesterday that a man who came to him practically stone blind, with a cataract, returned a week later- with his sight so restored that he could walk easily without guidance. He could distinguish the time on his watch, and could read large print. His hearing, which had been bad, had also been much improved. A young man, who was suffering severely from epilepsy, began to attend the preparatory services in August, and since then has not had any seizure. Under advice of a chiropractor, he had an X-ray photograph taken about that time, which revealed the fact that his vertebrae were out of adjustment. A similar photo, taken a fortnight ago, showed that the position has improved to the extent of two-thirds. Cases of improvement in sight and hearing and other benefits received have also been reportd from Oamaru. Nearly 250 people, suffering from all kinds of sickness, disease, and disability, are being prayed for regularly every day at the preparation services that are being held in the various Anglican churches.
