FATAL ALTERCATION.
FOOTBALLER SHOT DEAD.
(Received 9.5 p.m.) Sun. LONDON. Nov. 12. A noted footballer, Thomas- Ball, who was Astern Villa Club's centre half, was shot- dead in Birmingham by his landlord, named >S'agg, an ex-policeman, following an altercation.
