At the wool sales practically no Merinos wero offered, but there was a good selection of Bawra crossbreds. Prices were firm for all sorts. New Zealands A 52, Closeburn clip, realised 50id.
On the Bradford market crossbred tops are very firm, but there is no inquiry for
Merinos.

At tho wool sales yesterday there was good, general competition and a steady demand for all descriptions, with the exception of a few lines of thinly-grown, weak and burry wools. There was strong demand for comebacks and crossbreds at late rates. Greasy Merinos sold at Zo\d.
