DELAY IN FURNISHING.

Before Mr. Justice Stringer at the Supreme Court yesterday William Standish, a bankrupt, again appeared on an adjourned summons to show cause why he should not be committed for contempt of Court, for failing to furnish to the ofTcial assignee certain necessary documents relating to his estate. The case had been twice previously adjourned to allow bankrupt to furnish the particulars jequired. After the position had been explained yesterday by Mr. V. R. Meredith, Crown' Solicitor, who appeared for the official assignee. Mr. W. S. Fisher, the matter was' further adjourned for a fortnight. -''■ -'■•'■•- J .':'- : M' '- : :;,*-;% Mr. Meredith said that Mr., Fisher had received a letter from a well-known firm of accountants on Thursday slating that all the documents and papers had been received from New Plymouth, but it was impassible to have a: statement prepared by* yesterday.
