A. and N.Z. BRISBANE. Nov. 6. A sensational suicide is reported at Bowen. A man, named Charles Gower, in a naked condition entered the railway vards and climbed info a locomotive, "eluding the fireman. He opened the firebox and dived into the furnace. Attempts to drag him out failed and before the fire was extinguished theibody was a charred mass. His clothes were subsequently found in the yard. The men was presumably demented.
