Once in his stride Paul Dufault ran through very fast, and at the end of two furlongs he was showing the way to Great Hope, "with Trix Pointer and Millie Lancoln nest. Vilo then moved up and at the end of half a mile shtf joined Willie Lincoin. With six furlongs covered Paul Dufault was just in front of Great Hope, while Trix Pointer and Vilp were next, followed by Albert Cling and Willie Lincoln. There was no change at the mile post, but starting on the last lap Paul ►ufault was two lengths m front. of Great Hope, after whom came Trix Pointer and Vilo. well clear of Albert Cling and Onyx. Leaving the straight Paul Dufault and Great Hope opened out a gap several lengths from the rest of the field. . On reaching the back stretch. Great Hope ran to the front and three furlongs froml home he had Paul Dufault. Vilo, Albert Cling and Onyx as his nearest attendants. .Great Hope turned for home well clear, while Onyx and Albert Cling were prominent among the others. with Acron moving up fast. Great Hope tired in the last 100 yards, but lasted long enough to beat Acron byuabouV»«»«». Onvx was a' length further back, with Willie Lincoln close up, * neck in front of Albert! Cling.
