SOLDIERS' FARMS.
WORK OF REVALUATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT ] HAMILTON. Monday.
The special committess appointed by the Government to revalue soldiers' settlements, will commence their duties tomorrow. All soldier settlers have been notified that if they wish to have their holdings revalued, they should forward returns showing what they have produced from the land in past seasons. Many ;of the settlers have been tardy in complying with this request, and the result is likely to mean unnecessary expense and loss of time in completing the work. The chairman of the Waikato Committee, Mr. John McGaw, of Hamilton, urges all soldier settlers requiring the committee's services to forward their returns without delay. The Waikato Committee consists of Messrs. McCaw, J. Batty, and W. Gordon. Messrs. H. M. Martin, J. Price, and A. C. Sutherland are operating in the eastern portion of the Auckland district.
