AUSTRALIAN TAXATION.
AGREEMENT REPORTED. TWO DISTINCT FIELDS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, May 29. The Premiers' Conference resumed consideration of the taxation proposals in camera. It is unofficially stated that an agreement has been reached under which the States will tax private incomes- and the Commonwealth will tax company profits.
