The financial commission of the Near East Conference has made satisfactory progress and has settled many questions, including the reparations by the Greeks to the Turks and the Turk's to the Allies on the basis of the Allies not claiming further reparations beyond the £T6,000,000 in gold already seized at the Deutsche Bank and the £T5,000,000 already paid to Britain for two warships built before the war but not delivered owing to the declaration of war.
