Last night the shop of Messrs. Entrance was gained by forcing j the lock on the front door of the sbon. ' and judging by the marks round the i edge of the door some sharp instrument had been used for this purpose. Once in- ; side the shop the intruders occupied their ' time by helping themselves liberally to I various" brand* of cigarette* and tobacco, i and also to a number of pipes. UnforI tunately for the proprietors of the shop ! they had just that day completed re- : newing their stocks, and these showed ; ample evidence of depletion.
