Sir Stanley Cochrane, of Ireland, who is now in the United States, announced 'that he habT offered a special purse for two days' matches between Walter Hagen and Gene Sairazen and Jock Hutchinson and James Barnes, present and former British and American champions respectively, on April 28 and 29. A 36-hol© best ball four ball match will be held on the first day and a medal competition over 36 holes on the second. *'..''. '•'■
