ALLEGATION OF THEFT.
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHEISTCHUECH. Friday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Ralph Henry Percy Cooke, aged 27, accountant in the gas department of the Masterton Borough Council, was charged that between April 4 and April 7, at Masterton, he received the sum of £54 10s sd, on.terms requiring him to account for the same to the council, and omitted to do so, thereby committing theft. The accused, who was arrested in Christchurch yesterday, was remanded in custody to appear at Masterton on Tuesday. ■ *
