WIN AGAINST AMATEURS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK. April 1. In a golf match at Pinehurst, Walter Hagen, of Detroit, and J. N. Kirkwood, of Australia, to-day defeated the amateurs Ross and French, in a best ball match, by three up and two to play. Kirkwood played the round in 69 and Hagen in 70, their best ball being 66 to their opponents' 68.
