The consent of the Governor-General has been given to the raising of the following loans by local bodies: —Tamaki West Road Board, for drainage £90.000, road improvement £32,000, electricaf reticulation, £12,000; Piako County Council, to repay antecedent liability, £9000; Otorohanga and Maihiihi, £5000; Tadranga Hospital Board, new hospital, £12,500; Thames Borough Council, roading and building slaughterman's cottage, £6500; Kaitieke County Council, work on Erua Road £4500. Hikumutu-Owhango Road £2300; Raglan County Council, repairing and metalling the Whatawhata-Raelan Road, £4000.
