CHANGE OF PERSONNEL.

Tuesd»j Mr. Hiram Hunter, of Christchucch, has been appointed by the- GovernorGeneral as workers: representative on the Arbitration Court, and Mr. William Edward Sill, of Auckland, deputy representative. Mr. William Scott, Christchurch, is again appointed to represent the Employers' Association, and Mr. B. L. Hammond has been appointed deputy assessor tor the employers.
Mr. Hiram Hunter, who has been appointed workers' representative on the Arbitration Court, has been a trade union secretary in Christchurch for about twelve years, and at present is secretary of the Canterbury Drivers' Union and Canterbury Timber Yards. Sawmills, and Coalyards Employees' Union. He has had considerable experience as advocate in the Arbitration Court. Mr. Hunter is a member of the Christchurch City Council, having been first elected about 1912. He was a candidate for Christchurch East seat in Parliament at the elections of 1914 and 1919 and [Killed fairly well.
