OPENING DAY'S EVENTS.
The Ohinemuri Jockey Club opens its annual race meeting to-day, and the prospects are bright for a most successful gathering. All round the acceptances for to-day's racing: are very satisfactory, and, with fine weather well assured, l'aeroa, should once again act as a, magnet to attract a large concourse of racegoers to the popular fixture.
