EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
—,—*. FOREIGN FILMS EXCLUDED. A. and N.Z. LONDON. March 11. The Management Committee of the Empire Exhibition rejected an application to produce foreign firms. The committee stipulated that both apparatus and films must be of Imperial manufacture; also that they must be used for Imperial subjects. A proposal from Hongkong to construct a typical Chinese village, with Chinese restaurants, was rejected.
