LAWN TENNIS CONTROL.
ENGLISH RENUNCIATION.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 5.
The English Lawn Tennis Association lias accepted the recommendations of the council to eliminate the description "world's" in connection with the five grass court championships at Wimbledon, and to hand over to the International Rules Board the right to make and amend the laws of the game.
It is now expected that the American Association will join the International Lawn Tennis Federation.
