SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT.

VEHICLE FALLS OVER BANK. THREE PASSENGERS INJURED [by telegraph.—press association.] . GKEYMOUTH. Tuesday. A car conveying 13 passengers from the Christchurch express to Hokitika ran off the Christchurch road at a bend near Aicken's at 4 p.m., capsizing after falling six feet. Three passengers were injured severely. Two Timaru residents.. Mr. and Mrs. Eraser, fared badlv- The former had two ribs broken and his left eye seriously injured. Mrs. Fraser sustained a broken leg. Mr. Mann, of whristchurch, had a shoulder, injured. The others escaped. Mr. and Mrs. Fraser were brought by the express to Greymouth and placed in the hospital. Apparently the edge of the road crumbled under the car wheels. The hood of the car, which was smashed, protably prevented several others from being injured, including an infant and several ladies.
