THE ORPHANAGE FIRE.
APPEAL FOR CLOTHING. A large and enthusiastic meeting of Roman Catholics a fid -Catholics was held at St. Benedict's Presbytery last evening to devise ways and means to raise funds to rebuild St. Joseph's Orphanage. Dr. J. M. Liston presided. Various schemes, covering a wide field of activities, were discussed. It was decided to meet again this evening to further consider the proposals. An appeal for wearing apparel for the orphan boys appears elsewhere in this issue
