DAIRY OUTPUT INCREASES.

Figures supplied by the secretary of the Paeroa branch of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company indicate the rapid growth of the dairying industry in the Waihi district. During the 1920-21 season, butter-fat supplied to the factory from the Waihi station totalled 59,9081b.. representing 31 2-3 tone of butter. This was nearly doubled last' season (1921-22), when the output advanced to 108,8631b. of butter-fat, which was converted into 58 1-3 ■ tons of ; butter. For, three months of" the current season, September to November, 49,4721b. of butter- left Waihi station, the '" butter manufactured from which amounted to 26£ tons.
