WAIHI HIGH SCHOOL.
EXAMINATION SUCCESSES. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Wednesday. The complete .results of the recent examinations are now available, and show that the pupils attending the Waihi District High School met with remarkable success. Thirty-six were presented for free places, and in all instances free places were granted on the inspector's recommendation. For the public service examination, 15 sat and 11 passed. For the junior national scholarship, six were presented, and four gained scholarships; while for the matriculation examination, 14 sat, of whom five gained full passes and five partial passes. ■.-■•• ."•'■.
