ARGUMENT AT TENNIS.
ANDERSON REPRIMANDED. APOLOGY ACCEPTED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Feb. 14. The New South Wales Tennis Association accepted an apology from J. 0. Anderson, who argued with the umpire for foot-faulting him in a recent match, but sent Anderson a strongly-worded letter remonstrating with him for objecting to new balls when ordered by the umpire in the match against Patterson. The association in it* letter stated that the incident had regrettable effects on Victorian representation at the present carnival.
