REDUCTION IN FREIGHTS.
CONCESSION FOR pOPRA. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Feb. 14. The Oceanic, Commonwealth, and Dominion Lines are reducing freights to the Atlantic coast on hides, skins, and tallow. Full details are not available at present, but it is understood that the reduction on skins will be one-eighth of a penny a pound, making the rate gd a pound. 1 / As a result of the agreement between the Commonwealth and Conference Lines, copra freights from Sydney to the United Kingdom have been reduced 8s 9d a ton, and are now 61s 3d.
