Men in the curing trade state that the. shortage in .hams was really brought about by the cessation of operations by the factories in the Christmas season. This shortage has now been overcome. Although export was heavy and it was likely to continue to be so, there was still a surplus of rigs in the Dominion, and there should be no anxiety regarding supplies , for the Dominion market in the future.
