THE ZOO.
Sir,— little eon came to me' tha~- : ■ morning to know whether he covij go to the zoo in company with his mates. I V . willingly gave permission, but shortly after found that the boys had decided"'// not to go, as they found that they could only get in at the top gate, and that meant a long, hot walk. Surely it would pay the City Council to keep the lower gate open at any rate during the school . holidays, for there are hundreds of chil- ■ dren, living down this way, who would spend the day there if they could get. in that way.
