TO ESCAPE GUILLOTINE. "DETECTION AFTER 12 MONTHS. A. and N.Z. PARIS, Jan. 5. Vlachoff, a chauffeur, who murdered Mrs. Draycott in December, 1921, ana has since feigned madness, has bee.i under observation for a year. He was informed on Friday that the doctors had come to the conclusion that he was malingering. He will be guillotined within ft fortnight. Mrs. Draycott, the wife of a wealthy English resident in Paris, was brutally murdered in her fiat by Vlachoff, whose advances she had spurned.
