Y.W.C.A. ACTIVITIES.
I _ i " I The Y.W.C.A. during the last few days J has been busy with Christmas preparai tions and functions. The annual comj bined Christmas service and tea with the i Y.M.C.A. was held on Sunday, when j over 300 people were present. The Rev. IC. H. Grant Cowen conducted the serj vice, and the singing was led by members J of St. Matthew's choir, with Mr. Phillpot, ! the organist, at the piano. Greetings were exchanged with the Y.M.C.A. During the service, carols were rendered by tho choir and solos by Miss Parker. The association has taken a house at Green Bay, which will be this year's j holiday resort. Numbers of girls from ; both senior and girls' departments have j booked up for this holiday. The association expects to run this camp till the end of January, and will hold a special fortnight for younger school girls in January.
