A. and N.Z. LONDON. Dec. 21. Rebel train wreckers set fire to the Bel-fast-Dublin mail express near Dundalk. niey compelled the passengers to alight, sprinkled the coaches with petrol, switched the train down the line, and sent it at full speed ahead. A Free State munitions train collided with the burning train, of which the engines and leading waggons were overturned. The attackers cut off all communication with Dublin. A lnrge Christmas mail from Ulster to Britain was destroyed with the express. It is reported that seven railwaymen and postal officers have been missing since the outrage.
