DRASTIC FASCIST MEASURES.
CASTOR OIL FOR DRUNKARDS

The Borne correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that after a fortnight's efforts drunkenness and crime have been Vanished from Al Essandria, in Lombard}*. First of all drunkards were cured IwKh doses of castor oil. Then habitual thieves and blackguards were collected at b thieves' conference and told that they vould be soundly cudgelled unless they changed their habits and took a couple of jdays' cure for drunkenness. Bands of stalwart Fascist!, armed with thick sticks, paraded the streets, and every person, even those moderately under the influence of liquor, were seized and given a very stiff dose of castor oil and warned that next time they would be Soundly beaten. The Fascist! also ordered that a supply of castor oil should be kept Jn every public house and placards exhibited declaring the punishment to which would bo liable.
