The shareholders of the Dunlop Rubber •Company agreed to pay Sir Eric Geddes £5000 as director's fee, plus £10.000 'for 12 months' special services. One shareholder expressed the opinion That when everyone was facing reductions it was not opportune to grant increases to directors. Everyone linked Sir "Eric Geddes* name with the economy axo.
