For the match between the M.U.C. eleven and the Transvaal to-day the weather was showery, rain towards the close interfering with play. In reply to the Englishmen's first innings score of 240, Transvaal in tho first innings made 291, Meinejes scoring 30, Cattcrall 128, and Susskind 22. Jupp took four wickets for 48. Kennedy captured four wickets for 70 runs. M.C.C. at the drawing of stumps had made 15 without the loss of a wicket*
