A THUNDERSTORM.
HEAVY RAIN LAST NIGHT.
A thunderstorm, short, but violent, broke over the city at about 11.30 o'clock last night, bringing with it an appreciable lowering of the temperature. Rain fell for a considerable period, and the lightning flashes followed each other in quick succession. The lightning was particularly vivid, and the thunder claps heavy and prolonged.
