LOAN OF £SG,OOO CARRIED. [by telegraph.—press association.] TAURANGA, Saturday. Ratepayers yesterday carried a loan proposal for £90,000 for further electricity development by 441 votes to 45. Present and prospective profits are sufficient to meet chargcs on the new loan without rating. A proposal to borrow £3250 for the purchase of a recreation ground was also carried by a .substantial majority.
