APPLICATION TO COURT.

An application by a Chinese laundrvman for the taking of accounts in a partnership was heard by Mr. Justice Stringer in the Supreme Court on Saturday. William Chan (Mr. Holmden) alleged that he had no: received his fair share of profits from a laundry business in Customs Street, and also that he had been refused access to the books. This was denied by the. other two partners. Sir.g Hoy and Back Hoy (Mr. Dickson), who asserted that Chan's signature or initials appeared repeatedly on the pages of the books- There was no objection to the taking to? accounts and an order was made by the Court.
