HOSTAGES OF THE TURKS.
FOREIGNERS IN ASIA MINOR. NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE. Beuter. LONDON, Oct. 29. Advices from Angora state that the Turkish National Government has now issued an order forbidding foreigners to leave %vithout permission of the central authorities. This is interpreted as meaning that the Tiwks wish to retain hostages in the event of resumption of war, or that they desire to force foreigners to pay heavy taxes arbitrarily imposed, in-sspective of existing international treaties.
