MINISTERS' "BEST HOUSE."

OFFER TO PRESBYTERY,

A proposal that a rest house for ministers in indifferent health should be luilt at Governor's Bay has been before the Christchurch Presbytery. The Eev, J. Lindsay said that someone, who preferred to remain "anonymous at present had offered the necessary land and a donation of £500 for a building to be erected at Governor's Bay. This would be a species of rest house, to be used for ministers taking a rest or in ill-health. The donor wished the house to be so furnished that ministers could go there and stay at any time.
