[BT TELKGBAPH.—OWN COBBJESPONDEJIT.] SILVEKDALE. Tuesday. ■ A branch of the Reform League was formed at Silverdale on Monday evening. Officials elected were:—President, Mr. M. C. Runciman; vice-president, Mr. W. F. Green; secretary, Mr. W. E. Johns; treasurer, Mr. J. Curley.

Members of the Silverdale Bible Class (undenominational) held a working bee one day last week in an orchard of a widow settler. Teams of horses cultivated three aci-ns of orchard, and other workers trimmed back the overhanging shelter hedge.
