PROHIBITION RIOT.
CROWD BESIEGES SALOON.
VANCOUVER. Oct. 7. According to a message from Baltimore, IOCtO people besieged a saloon where prohibition officers were arresting a bar tender.
ihs police were unable to quell the subsequent riot, -which lasted four hours. Eventually the crowd dispersed, but the officers were afraid to leave the saloon.
