PIGEON-PLYING RACES.
The Auckland Racing Fiseen Club held its ninth old-bird race from Johnsonville on Saturday, a distance of 300 miles. The following were the placed birds:—Hunter Bros.' Silver Bell, 1016 yds. X: N- Waddell's Prince Fitzroy, 1012-Gyda. 2: Byan Bros.' Sentimental Bloke, 1012.5yd5, 3: A. G. Mays' Falcon. 1008 yds, 4; T. Robinson's Storm Fiend- 11,. 1003 yds «; X Turner's Wait a Moment. 1000 yds, 6. The sixth old*bird race held by the Dominion Homing Society was held on Saturday last from To Kuiti.
