A return called for by Mr. G. Witty (Riccarton) dealing with tho cost of the new Parliamentary Buildings was laid on the table of the House to-night. Tho figures given are as follows: —Total cost to date of the new Parliamentary Buildings, £227,b-to; contract price of the building at the time of acceptance, £151,639; cost of furnishing the building, including any contract let to date, £26,5110.
